Panasonic SDR-SW21 Review

Panasonic SDR-SW21

The Panasonic SDR-SW21 is the next improved underwater camcorder after the SW20 version. What most amazes me about it, is the orange color which is the default one currently. You can also get is in silver and green version.

Currently one of the most quality waterproof camcorder is selling out for a price of 300$ which is quite a bit at start, but when you will start using it, it will be worth! As this is a underwater camcorder blog let me first give you some info on the waterproof feature of this Panasonic SDR-SW21 camcorder.

You can use it underwater up to 2 meters and even in seawater. I really like the common design of it and the materials which it is made of are waterproof, shockproof and also dustproof. So, you can be safe using it in water and expect to record even more quality videos and photos than with the latest SDR-SW20 version of camcorder.

Now let’s see some of its general technical details. The lens gives you an 10x optical zoom and a 25x digital zoom which is quite good for a waterproof camcorder. Panasonic made a real good job on this version. What amazes me also is that the camcorder has implemented an SD/SDHC memory card which is safe inside it from water. The videos and photos are directly saved on that memory card which can be connected with your computer for uploading your videos and photos easily with included cable. So you can share your underwater adventure directly on YouTube!

Talking about waterproof, here we have a 2.7 inch wide screen LCD which can be used underwater, for real! You can easily show your already taken videos or photos to others on your Panasonic SDR-SW21 anytime you want. For more quality videos it has integrated an stereo microphone which gives more quality sound.

Currently price is 300$ on Amazon, you can order it right here.
